Adult & Child Therapy Carries on the Chester Gould Award at Annual Brunch
Recently Adult & Child Therapy Services of Woodstock hosted their annual brunch at the Woodstock Country Club. Each year, ACTS thanks and recognizes the people who are invested in the center. Those in attendance this year included the center’s 20 person staff, board members, and volunteers.
Executive Director Kim Larson thanked the individuals that have allowed the clinic to see patients of McHenry County for the last 61 years. The Chester Gould Award, an award given to ACTS from Dick Tracy creator Chester Gould, was presented to John and Marilyn Krenger of Woodstock. The Krengers were recognized for their outstanding dedication to the mission of ACTS.
Other awards this year included Board Member of the Year, awarded to all of the nine board members of the center, and Volunteer of the Year, awarded to Barb Fish, a Woodstock native who volunteers her time as a financial assistant.
